Privacy controls

Built-in mode: classification, cases, timelines, and templates run in the browser. No account is required.

Gemini mode: messages and a limited, redacted website-state summary are sent to your secure backend. API keys never enter the page.

Ollama mode: prompts are sent only to the endpoint you configure, normally your own computer.

Remember saved cases on this device

Off by default for public privacy. When off, cases, workspaces, chat, and wizard progress use session storage; evidence file blobs stay in memory only. They disappear when the session ends or the tab is closed.

Allow connected AppSDK storage

Off by default. Turn this on only when the connected provider is trusted and the visitor understands that data may leave the browser.

Public session protection

30-minute inactivity timeout, 2-minute warning, 4-hour maximum session, and a manual End Session control in the header.

Encrypted metadata backup

Protect saved cases, tasks, timelines, contacts, and settings with a passphrase. Evidence file blobs stay in this browser and should be backed up separately.
